Instructions
  1. Take 3 tbsp of vanilla frosting and place it in a bowl, add 3 drops of yellow food coloring and mix it thoroughly. This is your “mustard”.
  2. Take 3 tbsp of vanilla frosting and place it in a bowl, add 3 drops of red food coloring and mix it thoroughly. This is your “ketchup”.
  3. Take 1/4 cup of coconut and place it in a bowl, add 3 drops of green food coloring and mix it thoroughly. This is your “shredded lettuce”.
  4. Take 2 tbsp. of granulated sugar and add 1 tbsp. of water. This is the sugar water that you will be putting on the top of the “bun” so that the sesame seeds adhere.
  5. There are 40 grasshopper cookies per package, so you need 80 Nilla Wafers. That’s why I say you need 2 boxes of Nilla wafers. Go ahead and sort out the Nilla wafers. Place them in stacks of 2. You want to have 40 stacks of 2.
  6. Ultimately, you want to spread “mustard” on 40 Nilla Wafers and “ketchup” on the other 40 Nilla Wafers.
  7. Now take a grasshopper cookie, place it on the “mustard” half of the Nilla Wafer.
  8. Spread the top of the grasshopper cookie with a little white frosting “this is the cheese”.
  9. Place a tiny bit of the coconut “shredded lettuce” on top of the “cheese”.
  10. Top off with the “ketchup” Nilla Wafer. Continue doing this until you have all 40 cookies assembled.
  11. Take your sugar water and with a pastry brush, lightly place a little sugar water the top of each cookie. Then sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
  12. Let that set until it’s dry. Now your burgers are complete. Serve them with Potato Sticks as fries. These are a HUGE hit.
