I’ve been trying to come up with a blog topic for this week. I’ve got several in mind, but they would take a lot of time to prepare. It’s Sunday night and I don’t want to rush and give you crappy content.
I decided to talk about time. You’re like, time? Like the clock? NO, time as in time spent, time doing things time thinking about things. Don’t hang up! Please read further because I KNOW this pertains to you. If it doesn’t, then please comment, message me, teach me your magical skills because you’re quite unique.
I am a to-do list person, as it helps me get through my day. I have one at work, I have one at home; both for my business and personal life. It keeps me stay organized. I’m OCD, ADD, bla, bla, bla… lol
I try to spend my time being as productive as possible. I know I accomplish a lot because I create lists and I get in my zone. Ya know, the focus zone. Don’t talk to me cuz I’m on a roll zone.
Confession!! I know, I don’t spend enough down time. And I bet you don’t either.
We are all given the exact amount of time in on 24-hour period. Why do some people accomplish so much, where others don’t?
It’s creating that list. It’s so important to determine what you need to accomplish day by day. Number the items, star high priority or must do first. Make sure you set a priority so you get the most important items done first.
Realize an order. Maybe there’s a timeframe in your day that you can devote to larger items vs. smaller items. Plan that out on your list.
Here’s the deal, and here’s where I totally mess up. (As I mentioned above).
Schedule time for YOU during the day.
Yup, you heard me. I know you’ve already scheduled time to work out, so that isn’t an issue. 😉 I want you to make sure you schedule time to read at least one chapter, 10 minutes, something every day. Promise me this, ok? Please? It’s so important.
Next? Schedule time to do what relaxes you; mani/pedi, massage, facial, just time sitting having a cup of coffee, tea, a cocktail. Whatever floats your boat.
So many of us just go, go, go that we forget to take time to relax. Enjoy the sunrise, sunset, scent of the rain, flowers, ocean, sound of the birds chirping.
Think about time. Think about how you want to spend your time. Think about making sure you enjoy some moments of each and every day.
We are all given the same amount of time each and every day. How will you spend yours?
